Enable

Definition

This task allows you to display one or more elements as enabled or active elements on the screen. If the element is active or enabled, the end-user can perform the function on the element.

Steps to Configure

1. On the Event Configuration page, find the Task panel.
2. In the Task panel, search and find the Enable task.
3. Drag the Enable task from the Task panel to the Execution panel.
4. Under Enable, a group of boxes appears.
5. In the boxes, configure different properties as follows:

List/Box	Description	Mandatory
Reference Name	In this box, enter the name of the task. Also, the system generates a reference name by default.	Yes
Enable Elements	This property allows you to configure the element as an active element. To configure the element as an active element: 1. In the Enable Elements box, click the app tree icon (), and the right pane displays the Enable Elements area. 2. In the Enable Elements, see the application tree.  3. In the application tree, select one or more elements that you want to display as active elements. 4. After you select the elements, click Select, and the selected elements are successfully configured as active elements.	No
Disable Elements	This property allows you to configure the element as an inactive element. The end-user cannot perform the function on the inactive element. To configure the element as an inactive element: 1. In the Disable Elements box, click the app tree icon (), and the right pane displays the Disable Elements area. 2. In the Disable Elements area, see the application tree.  3. In the application tree, select one or more elements that you want to display as inactive elements. 4. After you select the elements, click Select, and the selected elements are successfully configured as inactive elements.
Business Rule(Optional Step)	In this box, you can configure a business rule to determine the execution of the Enable task. If the user’s action satisfies the condition in the business rule, the Enable task is executed. To configure the business rule: –> In the Business Rule box, click the application tree icon (), and the Business Rule panel opens. –> In the Business Rule panel, click CreateNew to configure the new business rule. 6. After you configure the related properties, click Save to configure the Enable task.
