Child Invisibility

You can apply this task to replace a child entity with another on a specific page. To replace a child entity, you need to configure the page layout, row and column indices, and component IDs of the old and new entities.

To configure the Child Invisibility task:

  1. In the Events dialog box, scroll down.
  2. Under Add Tasks, click the Select Task list, and then select CHILD_INVISIBILITY task.
  3. Click Add Task Config, and the Add Task dialog box opens.
  4. In the Add Task dialog box, click the Configuration area to expand it.
  5. In the Configuration area, perform the function as follows:

SourceUnder Source, you need to configure different properties related to the old child entity that you want to replace with the new entity. You can configure the properties as follows:
a. Layout ID
Click this list and then select the layout ID of the page that contains the old child entity.

b. Row Index
Click this list and then select the index of the row component that contains the old child entity.

c. Column Index
Click this list and then select the index of the column component that contains the old child entity.

d. Component ID
Click this list and then select the component that contains the old child entity.
DestinationUnder Destination, you need to configure different properties related to the new child entity that will replace the old child entity after the CHILD_INVISIBILITY task is executed. You can configure the properties as follows:
a. Layout ID
Click this list and then select the layout ID of the page that contains the new child entity.

b. Row Index
Click this list and then select the index of the row component that contains the new child entity.

c. Column Index
Click this list and then select the index of the column component that contains the new child entity.

d. Component ID
Click this list and then select the component that contains the new child entity.
  1. After you configure the properties related to the old and new child entities, click Submit to configure the CHILD_INVISIBILITY task.
