Accessing User Management

In this sub-module, you create a profile of a user or a group of users so that these users receive periodic alerts and messages related to the services’ performances and statuses. You can select these configured users’ profiles or groups of profiles when you schedule a job to run on a specific date and time or monitor a service’s performance.

When a scheduled job runs or fails to run at the scheduled time, or a service under monitoring does not work as expected or is down, the server sends alerts to users or groups of users that you select when you schedule a job or select a service to monitor it. In the User Management sub-module, you can perform the following functions:

To access User Management sub-modules:

  1. In the App Ops module, see the left navigation panel.
  2. In the left navigation panel, click the User Management icon ( ), and the middle panel displays the User Management page.
  3. The User Management page displays users’ and groups’ related information in the following tabs:

GroupsUnder the Groups tab, the User Management page displays the records of different earlier-created groups. The list contains the following information about groups:
a. Name of group
b. Date and time at which the group was created
c. Email ID of the user who created the group
d. Date and time at which the group’s details were last modified

e. Email ID of the user who modified the group’s details.
UsersUnder All Users tab, you can view the list of all users that have been earlier added. When a scheduled job does not run or runs successfully, or an under-monitoring service fails to run, the server sends alerts to these users.

Under All Users tab, you can view the following data:
a. Name of the user who will receive the alert
b. Registered email ID of the user
c. Date and time at which the user’s profile was created
d. Email ID of the user who created the user’s profile

e. Date and time at which the user’s profile was last updated
f. Email ID of the user who modified the user’s profile
