An Introduction to Vahana Hub Marketplace

Vahana Hub Marketplace is a web-based application (portal). It hosts thousands of APIs and multiple composable applications from Decimal Technologies and other partners. A user can consume these APIs to implement required functionalities and use a composable application to quickly build and customize a software application.

Vahana Hub is a useful solution for a wide variety of user types. It enables discovery, evaluation, subscription, and testing of several digital assets through a single-click user experience. While a software developer can search for an API or application to instantly integrate it with the existing solution, a product manager explores solutions to fulfill a business use case or a specific requirement. A partner can also access the Vahana Hub platform to publish APIs.

Unlike the old Vahana Hub, it offers the functional and operational edge in terms of services and applications usage. While the old Vahana Hub is slow and only integrates APIs as an asset, the new Vahana Hub is faster, interactive, and hosts a number of APIs and composable applications. Different client application users can consume these APIs and use composable applications as the reusable components to build a new customized software application without starting from scratch.

You can access the Vahana Hub Marketplace through a public URL: https://vhub.vahanacloud.com/products/home. Vahana Hub Marketplace displays references of these APIs in a card or tile format.

When you access the Vahana Hub Marketplace, it displays several panels and sections. These panels and sections are broadly described as follows:

Top Panel (Header)

On the web portal of the Vahana Hub Marketplace, the top panel is a static panel. it is called Header. It contains the following items:

Icon/Functionality	Description
A hamburger icon ()	When you click the hamburger icon, it takes you to the login page of the Vahana portal.
Global Search box	You can use this box to search several items, such as an API, a collection of APIs, assets, use cases, and others. On the Vahana Hub Marketplace, an asset is a collection of multiple APIs and composable applications based on a use case. A use case is collection of multiple assets.
Help Icon ()	When you click the help icon, a context menu opens. In the context menu, you can select the options to go to the Vahana Academy portal or Vahana Community portal.
Login Button	You can click the Login button to access the Vahana Hub Marketplace as a registered user.
Sign Up	Click the Sign Up button to become a registered user on the Vahana Hub Marketplace.

Before you move to the next section, let’s briefly discuss two important terms, assets and use cases. On the Vahana Hub platform, assets and use cases are created internally. An asset is a collection of APIs and composable applications. A use case contains one or more assets based on a business use case.

Different Horizontal Sections

Section	Description
Trending	This section displays the list of currently most consumed assets. When you click Explore All to the right of the Trending section, it displays a list of all assets that the client users are mostly using.
Featured	This section displays the list of Decimal Technologies promoted APIs and composable applications. When you click Explore All to the right of the Featured section, it displays a complete list of Decimal Technologies promoted assets (APIs and composable applications).
Most Popular	This section displays the list of most popular assets among client users. When you click Explore All to the right of the Most Popular section, it displays a complete list of the most popular assets.
Top Use Cases	This section displays a list of most-used use cases. When you click Explore All to the right of the Top Use Cases section, it displays a complete list of all top use cases.
Top Partners	This section displays names of partners who integrated a maximum number of services and applications with the Vahana Hub Marketplace. When you click Explore All to the right of the Top Partners section, it displays a complete list of potentially all top partners.
