vFlow 2.0 Configurator

The vFlow 2.0 Configurator is a user-friendly platform designed to guide users through the streamlined journey of building and managing applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient approach to application design and deployment.

Types of Journeys in vFlow Configurator

  1. Page-Level Journey / Forward Journey
    • This journey begins in the Configurator section.
    • Steps:
      • Create a page.
      • Add components, elements, and task groups directly at the page level.
      • Use the “Create New” button when adding rows, columns, layouts, or tasks in events.

    • It is known as the forward journey because it progresses linearly through the design process.
  2. Inventory-Based Journey / Backward Journey
    • Starts in the Inventory section.
    • Steps:
      • Requires creating components and tasks separately within the Inventory.
      • Once created, these are mapped onto the page during the design process.
    • Known as the backward journey because it involves preparing resources before mapping them onto pages.

Note: Business Rules (BRs) are exclusively created in the Inventory section.
