Elements

In the vFlow module, elements are the smallest unit of structure and are integral to designing web pages and applications. Also known as user interface components, elements serve two main purposes:

  1. Displaying Information: Elements present data and content to users. For instance, a column in a “Table” component that displays data values or an “Input Text” field in a “Form” component allows users to enter information.
  2. Facilitating User Interaction: Elements enable users to perform specific actions within the application, such as interactive buttons or input fields.

Elements are placed on the screen according to the interface design or application wireframe, which defines the layout and functionality of the application. To design an effective application, it’s advisable to first create a well-defined interface design or wireframe before adding elements to the vFlow component.

Examples include:

  • Table Component: Columns displaying data are elements.
  • Form Component: Fields like “Input Text” are elements used for user input.

Understanding and utilizing elements properly helps in creating a well-structured and functional application within the vFlow module.
