An Introduction to Component

In the vFlow module, a component is a type of entity that provides specific functionality to the application. Components serve as containers for various elements, enabling you to design the application’s interface effectively.

For example:

• Use the Table component to display data in a tabular or grid format.
• Use the Form component to collect user input. After adding a Form component, you can include elements like Input Text and Button.

Components, visible in the left panel of the vFlow module’s dashboard, house one or more elements used for interface design.

For instance:

• If you want to use the digital calendar, you need to drag the Calendar component to the layout.
• If you want to add the check box to the layout, you can drag the FV component to the layout.

Each component in vFlow has a specific purpose, facilitating the use of elements in interface design.

Note: In the Inventory section, components or tasks must be created separately, after which they can be mapped to other components or pages. This approach contrasts with the Configurator process, where you can create new components directly while configuring the layout.
